just got home from church..... we had a small youth Christmas celebration.... and so while waiting for my sis to come out from the toilet... I decided to blog about how the clarinet section girls actually created the "rock" cookies.... I still think the cookies are nice lah... just that they are a little hard.... and Miss Sia was complaining about the cookies.... haha....
and so here's what happened...

we started off buying the ingredients at Shop 'n' Save near Charity's home

everyone was being very aunty that day.... especially felicia... this was what she said...
Felicia:"aye Charity.. let's buy this... very cute got bear bear one!".. and she insisted that we bought gloves too for hygiene purposes... our reaction?... we ignored her...

Charity doing the aluminium foil thing for us to place the cookies for baking...

Hui Koon took over her job and if you look closely..

she was actually doing a very good job... it's much much neater than Charity's....BUT... if you realised... she folded it to the wrong side... thank God didn't matter....

Abigial and Lisa were sieving the flour and it went everywhere except the bowl.... Abigial was being quite inefficient at the same time too... so we were losing the flour faster than it can get into the bowl...

and so Charity had to step in to show how it was actually done...

that's me cracking the egg...

and I did it successfully!!!... which is quite amazing by my standards.. 'cause I'm a hopeless cook..

as you can see... the flour went everywhere except the bowl..

Charity was very nice... and she was doing all the tough jobs...

our pimply brownie mixture..

Hui Koon carefully pouring in the sugar to make sure that the sugar's fate doesn't end up like the flour's...
Evidence that the clarinet girls can't bake for nuts!!!!:

Felicia couldn't crack eggs...

someone stirred the brownie mixture and it flew to my hand!..

the brownie we attempted to bake... but was a total failure..

it ended up like this...
ok... so back to the cookies...

this is by the way the cookie mixture from which the 'rock' hard cookies originated...

more people came in to play with the dough after that.....

and this..... is the result of the cookie mixture after all of us finished playing with it...

greasing the aluminium foil before baking the cookies... and I used a tissue by the way... Charity taught me... so that way... I won't have to make my hands oily....

the first successful batch of cookies!!...

the cooks!....
yep... so that was how the 'rock' hard cookies came about.... hope those band members who chanced upon this will not be too grossed out... this is exactly why the baking post came out sooo much later... haha.... hopefully noone had diarrhea....
